The Onsite Solution for Power Plants
Security around our power plants is a critical part of society’s infrastructure.
Waterworks, dams, and power stations form the backbone of Norway’s electricity and water supply — and are classified as critical infrastructure. An operational outage can have major consequences for both society and business operations. Onsite Technologies delivers complete monitoring and security solutions that protect facilities against fire, intrusion, sabotage, and technical failures.
Continuous monitoring and rapid response
Our platform combines staffed video surveillance, thermal sensors, and automated alert systems. This makes it possible to detect unwanted incidents in real time — whether it involves overheating in transformers, water leaks, or attempts at unauthorized access.
Our operators can take immediate action and notify operations personnel or emergency services before the situation escalates.
- Monitors temperature, water pressure, and critical components in real time
- Provides full control over access points and perimeter areas
- Sends immediate alerts for deviations that may threaten production or power supply
At Onsite Technologies, we provide solutions designed to meet these security challenges. Our services include advanced monitoring, sensors, access control, and real-time cooperation with authorities to detect break-ins and sabotage attempts as they occur.
We can stop break-Ins or sabotage before they happen
It may sound confident, but in many cases we can prevent or stop criminal acts before they are completed.
Onsite Technologies delivers security solutions for waterworks and power facilities. Our services include staffed monitoring, sensors, access control, and real-time coordination with authorities.
This means the control center monitors the area around the clock. Sensors alert operators to intruders, and operators can communicate directly with unauthorized persons. We can also remotely close valves and control systems directly from the control center.
We contact the police and keep them updated on the intruders’ activity. We can also assist in any subsequent investigation.

- Fire extinguishing
- Police coordination
- Instructions and alerts
- Remote closing of valves and systems
How it works
Using our security technology, the area is continuously scanned for human activity, and alerts are sent to our control center. There, activity is assessed as either normal or suspicious, and actions such as direct communication with intruders or contact with police are initiated.
If the area — whether it is a waterworks facility, dam, or power station — is also secured with fences and gates, access control can be managed remotely by the monitoring center when authorized visitors request entry.
- 24/7 staffed monitoring
- Integration with existing SCADA and operational systems
- Full event history and reporting for regulatory compliance and audits

Our security solutions are 100% emission-free, environmentally friendly and make mobile security redundant.
